A new exhibition of paintings by Peter James Smith
Zealandia oil on linen 610 x 1220mm
This exhibition invites viewers to join painter, historian and mathematician Peter James Smith on a tour of Zealandia, earth's unsung eighth continent. Mostly submerged beneath the waves of the Southwest Pacific Ocean, only islands like New Zealand and New Caledonia break the surface to reveal glimpses of the ancient super continent, Gondwana. These paintings are inspired by and reference sites of historical and geographical interest.
